BATUL JUMA

Art

This will be Sister Batul's second year with us at the Academy.  She possesses a Bachelor's Degree in History.  She has been teaching Islamic art in the community before joining the Al-Hamra team.

She is excited to expand on the Massachusetts State Standards for Visual Arts including color theory, paint, sculpture, calligraphy and other fine art mediums.  This year's curriculum will also explore interdisciplinary work with other subjects including technology and graphic art in addition to Art History from both Islamic and global perspectives.
