Faculty & Staff


Dr. Nadia Aljam has been with the Academy for a decade.  She has a Master's Degree in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.  Dr. Aljam has Ijazat in Qur'an with tajweed from Syria in 1997.  She renewed her Ijazat with Global Qur'an Memorization Center in Jordan in 2015 and is a Certified Nuraniyah Instructor.  Dr. Aljam also possesses an Ijazat in Islamic Studies. As a native Arabic speaker, she teaches Arabic to our Level 1 Students.  She is also the Qur'an Teacher for all our Students, KG through Grade 8.  

Our Students call Dr. Aljam, "Sister Nadia." She teaches with great passion and enthusiasm, fostering learning with a moderate approach to understanding Qur'an in meaning, imagery, and stories with each Surah.

Dr. Aljam is very active in the community (Sharon, Wayland, Rhode Island and Worcester) teaching Saturday and Sunday School and hosting Halaqas.
