Sister Naima is a native Arabic speaker, having attended medical school in Algeria prior to entering the field of teaching.  She possess Certification in the USA as a Teacher's Assistant.  Sister Naima has been with the Academy nearly two years; prior to joining our team, she was active in the community while assisting several Islamic Day Schools and Sunday Schools as a Substitute Teacher/Instructor.

Sister Naima teaches Level 1 Arabic at Al-Hamra.  Inside the classroom, mostly Arabic is spoken, engaging students in dialogue, increasing fluency in Qur'an and reading aloud, pronouncation, and handwriting.  Students also do in-class presentations to build confidence.  She is also a Teacher's Assistant to Al-Hamra 1st Grade.

Sister Naima assists Al-Hamra's After School Study as a Teacher for both Arabic & Qur'an.
