Assalam Alaikum,

We are excited to know that you are interested in Al-Hamra Academy for the upcoming school year.

Established 24 years ago, Al-Hamra became the first Muslim School in New England. In 2017, Al-Hamra was reaccredited by NEASC and CISNA. We serve close to 150 students all the way from our Montessori inspired preschool to 8th grade. Our small class size allows for personalized nurturing and academic rigor.

Al-Hamra Academy has a proud legacy of academic excellence and spiritual learning. We continue to invest ourselves in the growth of the whole child by catering to their social, emotional, academic, spiritual, and physical needs. With a student-centered learning approach, you will find Al-Hamra to be a vibrant and dynamic educational environment. Al-Hamra follows the MA frameworks for the core curriculum and a STEAM based approach. Our foreign language department follows the ACTFL standards.

Beyond academics, students at Al-Hamra are provided a plethora of enrichment activities through outreach programs, guest speaker series, community collaborations and service, field trips and much more. Students are offered opportunities for Robotics, DestiNation ImagiNation, Speech club, videography to name a few.

Please feel free to reach out to me with further queries, or to set up an appointment. The administrative office will gladly offer you assistance in the application process.

We welcome your family to the Al Hamra community.
