Dr. Adnan Rehman
World History and Literacy Instructor
Dr. Adnan Rehman is an adjunct faculty member at Springfield College, specializing in the philosophy of religion, semiotics, and South Asian Islam. He earned his Ph.D. in Religious
Studies from Boston University, following an M.A. in Islamic Thought from the International Islamic
University Malaysia and another M.A. in Theology and Philosophy from Drew University in New Jersey.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Rehman serves as adjunct faculty at the Boston Islamic Seminary, His scholarly interests focus on the philosophy of religion, semiotics, and South Asian Islam, with his doctoral research examining the critique of secular nationalism in modern South
Asia through the lens of Muslim political theology.
